Having just met the beautiful Tia Carrere on Halloween, I saw this as the perfect opportunity to make her the Hot Asian Girl of the Month for November.
Born Althea Rae Duhinio Janairo on January 2, 1967 in Honolulu, Hawaii of Filipino descent, the lovely Ms. Carrere is an actress who has been in quite a few projects. She wanted to be a signer since a young age and even appeared on Star Search in 1985 at the age of 17, although she was eliminated in the first round. She was spotted by the parents of a local producer in a grocery store. This led to her role in Aloha Summer.
She soon did LOTS of TV work including appearances on Airwolf, The A-Team, MacGyver, Married with Children (this one I remember. She played Kelly's rival and looked HOT AS HELL), Friday the 13th: The Series (being a big fan of this show, I really wish I remembered her role) and lots of other shows.
She did then moved on to movies and did Harley Davidson and the Marlboro Man (and, yes I do like that movie) and the very fun and violent Showdown in Little Tokyo. From there, she went on to her most known role that as Cassandra in both Wayne's World movies. While, I was never a fan of these movies, I was always a fan of hers. Plus, this movie also gave us the chance to hear her perform her own music. She appeared on Tales from the Crypt also playing a rocker babe. I LOVE seeing her play rocker babes!
She continued to movies including the high enjoyable Rising Sun and the very crappy Krull the Conqueror. From 1999 to 2002, she stared in Relic Hunter. Here is a clip of her from that show:
She also did cartoon voices on Lilo Stitch and the 2003 Duck Dodgers series. She kept her music career, too, even winning a Grammy for best Hawaiian music in 2009.
This babe never stopped being hot. She finally gave us a revealing look at her in 2003 when she bared it all for Playboy
